Freedom,FREEDOM,freedom

Boom,Boom like thunder,a distant sound/
Lighting like flashes from the grounds morning dew/
Closer and closer,Ma,Ma Iam afraid of the storm/
Dearest daughter thats' the bells of freedom/
For our people everwhere/
Smell of gun powder death abounds/
Rivers and creeks running red with blood/
Stench of death over flowing/
Thunderous cannons shaking the ground/
Booms of freedom,our distant friends/
The price of freedom a heavy toll/
Free from slavery's chains atlast/
Slave to freedom the hard road to began/
40 acres and a mule is what they said/
A lie on which we will grow old/

W

Hunger, pain and sorrow traveling the unkown road of tomorrow/
Droplets of tears,a babies eye's/
My breasts run dry,as I listen to my babies cry's
A hurricane twisting inside/
Hands blistered from picking cotton/
Barefoot,hungry and cold,the masters cruelty prevails/
Many lay dead/
My women's treasure stole from me,the masters pleasure/
Burning my mind as I travel the road ahead/
His wip still stinging me in my sleep/
Help me my Lord get on with the fight/
Hatred every where,Their eyes burning, the devils fire
Decade after decade/
In search of freedoms bed/
Tell the day Iam not judge by the color of skin/
But the man Iam/
When life is all over/
And my body has been burned/
I will ask of you then/
Which color Iam........
