they gave you this check
You thought cash for life /
Fine with you for children and wife /
But you see
Government is out of cash /
The money just did not last /
That money did not make you smarter /
You are know a no starter /
Find a job ,get on the fly /
Time to stop getting high /
Time for government to wise up /
Stand in line , make you piss in a cup /
We are not teachers in this great nation /
We are of obliquity /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
