The young sorry they know more than you /
Take their walk to school /
Sit in their class ,see the fools /
Their peers the bad mouths of fools /
Stand up sit straight , keep you mouth shut /
Adult disgrace /
Cant forget that school walk /
grown men talking the talk /
Hey Niger whats up /
Got some nickle bags here /
Try one for free /
I need you to buy from me /
Fight on the corner busting ass /
Hell with school ,lets play with the trash /
Listen to that radio blaring /
A snare , lets not go there /
Yes the streets the Young are often taught by you /
Turn it down so they don't have to be a fool like you /
Parents listen to your children /
You too might learn a lesson too /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
