Love hurts /
Not made of brickes and stones /
But of flesh and bones /
Made of both tears and fears /
Made of ups and downs /
And just not being around /
Hard to give up /
No longer a pup /
Puppy love /
Made for young and old /
If i may be so bold /
All and all a tear will fall /
I love you all /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
