Countries with bombs /
Others with prayers /
Created snares /
Life's in decay /
Revolution , rebellion /
Running like a stallion /
Many falling /
What of this calling /
Born a child /
Soon a man
Death to revolution ,yet again /
Destruction of population /
Who goes there /
This bomb made hole /
Friend or foe /
Never to know /
Black or white /
Always a fight /
Always night /
Two sides right /
Walk in darkness /
life's starkness /
Gladness to sadness /
Gun powder instead of candle light /
A place in space /
Earth beautiful earth /
Place of my birth /
Of what worth /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
