Neighborhoods burned , not of flowers /
no time , no hours /
Weed head , busted pimples /
Human too simple /
Burning homes , burning joints /
Whats rappers point /
Bars , time in the joint /
Caught , oink , oink oink /
Tiorted ,spelled backwards plight /
Miss , abyss ,darkness , night , /
Guns , bullets fright /
Murder sight /
Standing corners /
Begging Donner's /
A dollar or two /
YES , yes you fool /
Houses a blaze /
No passing faze /
Morals fade /
Passing days /
War a industry /
Trust me , as i see /
Not just you , also me /
Suckers to the company /
Jack and Jill
up the hill /
Robbed of a pail of water /
Jill comes down , jacks been killed father /
Greatest fear /
No longer near /
Already here /
Feel your tear /
No spending cash /
Morals not of last /
Badness a foot /
No dinner to cook /
Black man president /
Not a resident /
No present /
No Christmas tree /
This life of you and me /.....

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
