Man old lives in a hole /
No place to go /
Society drove him below /
Not of your flow /
His land , his hole /
Break down came slow /
Took a 5 year old on the run /
killed a bus driver /
returned to his home /
No phone /
Death to soon occur /
Society's cure /
Boy would leave fine /
Never to know of his mind /
Lost to mine /
Where is this freedom , i cant find /
Civilization , no such place /
Composition ,misconception masturbation /
Mind lost to constipation /
misreporting disgrace of a nation /
No new frontier /
Life mad i fear /
return to yesteryear /
Cave man with a club drunk on beer /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
