Ignorance does not budge/
We lost our way /
Fudging the day /
No knowledge of facts /
Just something to say /
Some ones truths /
Not always lies /
Hear the angles cries /
Travel the road up ahead /
Unto me the living dead /
No money , no hope /
Streets of madness and dope /
Your jealousy , fellow man /
Streets a dead end /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
