Words of truth /
do they not understand you /
Me too /
Not caring to know /
Facade their parade /
Digging graves /
Bombs and bullets played /
living clowns made /
Like thinkers hang together /
Blame other /
No sisters , no brother /
another bomb drops on their head , another million lay dead /
A bullet fly /
Trough another home /
a baby cries, soon to be dead /
Laying in her own bed /
Americas shame /
Someone else to blame /
a nasty game /
The devils alive /
Common sense has never arrived /
Why it does not hide /
Mankind has lied /
I ask you try /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
