Take me away from this bull shit world /
Baseball bats and guns clash /
Education comes last /
A baseball player just got a 214 million dollar contract /
Not what you know /
But how you play with them balls /
Oh yes that's were the money falls /
The bounce of balls , balls, balls /
Have you played with yours today /
Not about what you know /
But about who and what you trow /
Hit it ,trow it hell toss it away /
For that better pay /
Education rides the back of the buss /
all but turned to rust /
Children learned to well /
This , This man built hell /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
