Stillness of night,feelings of peace abound /
Violent eruptions surround /

9300 on Glenfield st.
Gunfire on Kilbourne /
One down /

Hatred erupts on a peaceful night /
matters not what city /
When people show their ugly face /
Areas where cities show their disgrace /

two cities in one , which will survive /
No place to run and hide /
What of the answer my friends /
We must understand all we can /
To stop this violence in our motherland /
Time to give a helping hand /

We must teach our children before they can talk /
When older the proper path to walk /
In hope the stillness of night /
to be the peace of day /
