Money ?????

What was it like when money was nothing more than sweat and blood /
Helping our neighbors stay safe from famine and flood /
No green back dollars for mankind to howler /
People hating for color of skin /
Not aware of when it began /
In God we trust /
When will we do that again /

Greed for land , money and monuments of glory /
Someday will be the end of this Earth"s story /
Only the money we lust /
In God we trust ??? /

Nations bombing nations /
Children killing children /
Robbery from corner to corner /
Neighborhoods in despair /
Not enough of in God we trust there /

People wanting more and more /
Dope to smoke , shot or snort /
More money to extort /
Turning a good girl into a whore /
In God we trust /

Mansions being built for the rich man's delight /
Poor living among a ungodly sight /
Mother Earth being smothered /
Expansion everywhere /
God's creatures loosing their jungles,forest and oceans /
Homes of natural delight /
Animals big and small /
Mankind seems to want it all /
In God we trust /
