Tired , so tired /
Flower blooms astray /
No green grass desire /
Stars shine , no fire /
Broke , broke , broke /
As they Ask , ask , ask /
Life task /
Yesterday back ,Spell of past /
So all alone /
Unbroken bones /
Cell phones /
Ask , ask , ask /
Who cares /
Hells snares /
Devoid of stay /
Yet today /
Mind and body in pain /
Too nice a name /
Not of my shame /
Those that be lame /

Just the way i feel this morning, i do not know of this word ask , so why do they ask so much of me.

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
