Beware of man /
His open hand /
To shake /
Often a mistake /
His mask in place /
To trust a mistake /
Gun in hand /
Shoes to take /
A stranger ,no debate /
The other way /
Mothers say /
No excuse /
Walk to school /
Crack head abuse /
Don't hang with fools /
Schooling tools /
Walk away /
not to stay /
No to play /
A truth i say /
Love

You can be smarter than the world you see , It is going to be up to you , the powers that be are on the wrong track of that like you i do see , don't fall into that entertainment trap . Be you as a matter of fact........

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
