I dwell , a place /
Like no other, so close to hell /
Flesh burning smell /
Poet do tell /
Madness yells out your name /
Anarchy's game , jimmy , jimmy /
Shame ,shame , no moral gain /
Greed , jealousy hate the same /
walks the streets /
Drives in cars ,planes , bullets and bombs /
Bodies in tombs , fresh mother's wombs /
Governments story , rebels glory /
Gods once walked /
Black birds talk /
Mothers cry /
Children die /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
