Protector or Predator /
Which does it be /
Lost to me /
No innocence to see /
Gone of love of yesteryear /
Taken over by fear /
Where are you dear /
To only feel tears /
Bombs , bullet power /
Gone life's flowers /
More than one a hour /
The highest tower /
Human race /
No crazed inhumane case /
Taking place /
To earths disgrace /
Evolution of man /
Back to beast /
Man makes man his feast /
I will go now to say the least /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
