Rain drops hug a park bench /
Not wanting to fall /
Morning dew , Humans call /
Society a fool /
Riding on the poor /
Lack of humanity too /
Destruction , reconstruction /
The fall of morals /
Culture gone from view /
Common sense too /
I watch , i watch , i watch /
Mothers cheek holds a tear /
Sons and daughters going bad /
Where is dad /
Sun rise , humans die /
The earth cries /
Capitalism grows /
Rivers flow /
Famine and flood /
Devils alive /
Politician a vampire /
Your money he sucks /
Pick pocket , your money you hide /
Tears from the sky /
Hugging a abandoned bench /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
