Out the window i see /
A poets blood , Rapids flowing /
sea to sea /
Bloody rats , street trash /
Dime whores , Nickle rocks /
Buckets of blood , laying in mud /
Pants hanging low , dragging so /
Stained in culture /
Life of the vulture /
Cocks and Glocks /
away flows the hope /
In flows the dope /
No hope /
This is what i see /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
