Misconceptions a journey /
Make room /
Many mistakes i bet /
Look at your elders /
What a mess /
They failed the test /
Minds now at rest /
They fucked it up /
Propaganda and mistrust /
Hold the hand of fellow man /
Show love wherever you can /
Be who you are /
Never mind the rest /
To be the best /
Not to fellow , but to lead /
Rainbows no pot of gold /
Treasure is truth /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
