Oceans of concrete run deep with hate /
No leaders of children /
No leaders of man /
Heart shows no sign of relief /
Twenty Four Seven Grief /
Drama , drama a garbage can /
Help i cant understand /
Asinine Human race /
American disgrace /
Storms pounding concrete floors /
Life's whores /
Do they not see /
Increase violent activity /
Two party system /
No wisdom , Ism /
Mother , Father such magic words /
America a Eagle /
Not just a bird /
Where have you flew too /
Ghetto , ghetto from eye's to mind /
Where it stops nobody knows /
Flowing as the wind blows /
In your Paradise it shows /
To the children with love

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
