I will judge no man /
By what i say or do /
i will judge no man a fool/
For that there is no tools/
I will not judge by color /
Or anything other /
I will judge you only for you/
You are the maker of your dreams /
Or so it seems /
Many actions/
Are only reactions/
From those of others/
Lies and failed tries where children's cries/
Go unheard the facade of grace/
Yet all a disgrace/

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
