Many people much too white /
Others much too black /
I wear no outside skin /
Tell me difference , you may no began /
Your blood another color than mine /
Sitting on the toilet , what comes out , a different color than mine /
With little money to spend , both our dads /
Both our sad's /
What color is love /
Is it different for you /
For both sometimes leaves us black and blue /
Have you gained any tools /
Only thing i hate of white /
Color i snort and put in mt pipe /
Talk about a color ruining a life /
Will take away your wife /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
