A poem , what to say /
Another bomb dropped this day /
Another , a thousand murdered yesterday /
A baby flies trough the air /
What did she do , just not fair /
Your back under attack /
A maniac /
What words could describe all that /
Another dollar for the fat cat /
No one wants to understand /
Too many are inhumane man /
Another dollar , wont pay the bills /
No money to buy my prescription pills /
The world stands not still /
Graves it fills /
The world may piss on my grave /
Truth is all i crave /
Never forget , we all insane /
Mindless matter , not tame /
Evolution to inhumane /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
