A poem words in flight /
Day or night /
A road traveled , a life lived /
Told and did /
You didn't like /
From truth you hike /
Matters not /
Not your life /
Children drown in sorrow /
Money have , not your tomorrow /
Ring , ring goes the bell /
Too busy living hell /
Can't smell the flesh burning /
Not learning /
Money to spend , i do tell /
Just steps away from hell /
What ever that be unknown to me /
To play blind i do not see /
Peek a BO /
Me and you /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
