What beauty does man seek /
Fails to take a peek /
Comes in all sizes and color /
Does not mean to not be lovers /
To become best of friends /
Time to change world wide trends /
Not to follow the rest /
Put out your hand be the best /
Trust more , not less /
World love retreets /
Lost to repeats /
Black , white , red or blue take a peek /
Hold their hands as i hold yours /
Be a Eagle , fly to the highest peeks /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
