What does a school kid think /
A world on the blink /
Country in need a water /
One's with out mother or Father /
Many go hungry /
Many only angry /
smothered with no hope /
Legalizing dope /
Some voting /
Streets toting /
smoking up Disney land
Even that they slapped this wonderful man /
Their creator /
a masturbator /
People discriminator /
a real prickerlator /
Earth , birth /
What worth /
Destroyed by man
Pricks of the land /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
