I,m adrift in a sea , the unknown /
A life saver not far away /
Sink or swim /
Yet not a favor /
Not trusting anymore /
I drink the sea /
Intoxicated as death fills my lugs /
Knowing of the secret you seek /
Death the beginning of freedom /
free of injustice , pain ans sorrow /
Free from money changers of life /
Free from this society expels /
But i must awake from this spell /
I have something left to do /
Maybe a better life for me and you //
I reach for this life saver /
It is but the hands of you /Thank you

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
