No poem on my mind /
No words i can find /
Disgusted with every kind /
A donkeys behind /
Human race on the boarder /
Out of order /
Bible to read /
Gun to bleed /
Dinosaur layed no seed /
No good word to heed /
Devils in the store /
World a ten cent whore /
Life you explore /
Open the door /
So much more /
Walk from the abyss of floor /
Stars to adore /
Not of human kind /
look look you will find /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
