It's OK to run /
Hide from the dumb /
Not wanting to meet /
This education they greet /
You , you from the street /
It's OK to hide /
But never run /
it is them who is dumb /
Not understanding your jest /
To your way asinine to them at best /
Someday your knowledge /
They will request /

Had this published in Europe a long time ago ..Matters not what people think of me , but that they look at the world and truly see , the universe is on the wrong path ...

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
