Convict standing , sitting
Pacing ,pacing the room /
Ten by ten, a , tomb /
No pent house sweet /
Rat whole , take a peek /

Lock them up to TAME /
Dreams of snow capped mountains/
Flowing fountains /
Time counting ,year after year /
Counting in tens
I fear /
Living in a cell /
No no living in hell /
Free he could not self conquer /
He never fit in/
Long ago it began /
ghetto society ,insane priority /
A whore minority /
A mind control "HO"
Five and ten cent store /
Revolving door /
One comes out , two go in /
hell no , a basketball rim /
Prison not tame , still of street games /
Hunger strike at Pelican Bay /
Inhumane they say /
Fuck you , another ghetto ass day /

Just plain critical

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
