Little girls just don't hide /
Swinging that young ass side to side /
Pushing young breast high in the air /
Look, look what i got
not seeing a pervert over there /
Looking to take her hair /
She smiles from ear to ear /
Young and happy , no fear /
About to be a murder victim dear /
Look ,look what i got
No place , no grace /
Ghetto disgrace /
My only hope girls take the time to grow up before giving it up.....

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
