Trough the window I see /
Decorated Christmas tree /
Presents all wrapped up in blues and greens /
Damn you know what I means /
Pissed in my pants /
Mind yelling take the chance /
I brake the window /
Still a bit in limbo /
I climb on trough /
Cutting my ass on the window sill /
Oh no i see him coming from the other room /
Shot gun in hand /
Mom's going to morn /
Headed to the promise land /
Turns me around /
Head back trough /
Stand still /
Kneeling on that window sill /
Pulls my pants to the floor /
He yells merry Christmas /
My cell mate friend /
How did you know where I lived /
YES thank you for coming /
Now I'm going to do what we did /
There really is a Santa /..........

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
