i write of Insanity /
Sits on my brain /
that said of truth /
From a telephone both /
American made /
Means not American paid /
Nor owned /
All the meat taken from the bone /
I'm stuck in this phone both all alone /
What does it matter what is said /
Look , look ,what is did /
these are not pleasant times /
dime bag , nickle bag crimes /
What will they say of left behind /
Crazy ass times /
I look to the roof of the both /
Made in china /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
