sea to shining sea /
But what does it mean to me /
what does not enter my mind /
tell me , tell me please
What it is i can not find /
a stolen land from the indian man /
Millions of slaves /
Of all colors
Now millions of graves /
Off to war /
Low payed government whores (no gender )
Came back in a body bag / For what i ask
This thing called terrorism ,a deat task /
From sea to shining sea /
are both deeds not terrorism /
a son misses his daddy /
Yes i wonder Why
So many young must die /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
