Story to tell /
Comes from a kid's hell /
A facade called home /
No dog no bone /
daddy going to be late tonight /
strip bar whores ,daddy's delight /
Casino gambling his pay check /
No new shoes for little Beck /
just like Christmas time /
Mom and dad smoking to many dimes /
Remember all the toy's under the tree
They took them back for money Back ,Back , Back
Sorry kids we just got Jacked /

A story told to me over and over again by many children when they grow up and understand what happened to that new bike by a Christmas tree..

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
