The end of a rainbow /
A pot of gold /
A story told /
Sad ,happy and bad /
Both happy and mad /
Love of mom and dad /
Must be a truth /
No Clark Kent ,telephone both /
Love and sorrow /
Gets me trough each tomorrow /
About you my dear /
Yes you in a distant land /
One i never met /
New love don't bet /

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
