I wish you a working day /
One that feels more like play /
Better than others /
My sister and brothers /
Matters not what color /
Either one or the other /
All the same this life's game /
Want to be drug addict or drunk /
Your life , you flunked /
Hope your children have more sense than you /
You , you the everyday fool /
A debater of fact /
A jumping jack /
waiting for a stupid check in the mail /

Took my son out of one school today ,a hour later he sitting in another school and he wanted to start toda the today and the school was of his choice and a damn good one i must say.......

- Poetry, what is it? A poet what is that? I doubt its me ! To me poetry is a word description of life. No matter a good or bad life only the truth of life. A poet can only truly describe a life he lives or has lived. One can not write about drug addiction, gangs, violence, and despair if he or she has not dwelled there. I write things I feel because I have been there, done that and know what many people feel because I feel it. What effects the young today effected the old yesterday. Nothing really has changed when it comes to poverty. I write about black and white issues because I feel neither black nor white, because I refuse to wear color of skin. I write about the young because I never grew up. I write about the old because the years added up.
