long ago , as knowledge began /
Street cars named desire /
Even then women for hire /
Fathers lies /

Pockets picked /
Life's dick ed /
Gun fights , gang fights ,wars , Tommy guns fired /
Al Capone , Elliot Ness another time ,another mess /

What was better , someone else was dad /
Always made him mad /
You're turn , now your sad /
Morning DAD /

look past your block /
They too carry Glocks /
look across this planet /
Violence a world wide magnet /

Blood flowing in oceans and creeks /
Black oil ,Ship leaking freaks /
Bombs dropping on mother earth's chest /
No need nursing her breast /

Was it better when the earth was flat /
May be it is , and were just off tract /
Divided by race , fools gold place /
Money the problem in this human race /

Was it better when , you were in mothers womb /
Outside a inhumane tomb /
mankind has lost it's brain /
Just a greedy corporate ass game /

slaughter the Indian /
Gave the black man a name /
destroyed sanity , yet all the same /
Beginning of time , all for nickles and dimes /

It was better when families were whole /
Mother ,father children on the GO /
Picnics and LOVE on the flow /
Santa singing HO HO Ho /
But when was that ,I don't know ///

I wrote this at 3 am this morning as i could not sleep..Are we over modernized and so much less civilized that bombs and bullets are the answer to conflict. If so why did the dinosaur ever leave his happy home ...
